OUR STORY

Founded in 2016, ASCENO founder Poppy Sexton-Wainwright set out to create a brand that allowed a woman to be the purest version of herself - relaxed, carefree, and confident. Our heritage is in silk pyjamas and the relaxed, effortless energy one has when wearing them. Whether entertaining at home, away on holiday, or for an evening out with friends we have you covered, literally.

Designs are modern yet timeless, withstanding the test of wardrobe time. Versatility is at the core of what we do so you can buy well and buy less. We produce in an ethical and responsibly way and are committed to moving ever further along the path to a sustainable future. We produce in small production runs to reduce excess and waste.

We use organic linens and cottons and responsibly sourced organic silk. We will be launching many more sustainable fabrics in our upcoming collections including organic and responsible bamboo silk. We test every fabric for its hand-feel, durability, and design. As more sustainable options and technologies become available we are committed to integrating them into our collections.

LOVELY RITUALS

"My favourite skincare brand is de Mamiel. Each product is handmade and contains 100% natural and organic ingredients. I use the seasonal facial oil every night before bed, it is the ultimate in self indulgence! Feeling good on the outside is key to keeping healthy on the inside.

I also love to take baths when time allows with essential oils, salts, candles and a yoga nirdri to relax to. It helps me to be present, clear my busy brain and give my head some much needed space."

"I start every morning by meditating on 'breathe of fire' for two minutes. It is a powerful breathe that allows you to release and set intentions for the day. I follow this with 10 minutes of Kundalini Yoga to rebalance and energise. My absolute favourite instructor is Lucy Keaveney. After my practice with Lucy, I feel lighter and brighter. Zephyr Wildman is my go to when I am looking for a slower practice. Her classes are transformational to my mood."
